Play in 'Imperium'

In Imperium:
Third Millennium, a few nasty rolls
on the Imperial Intervention Table can ruin
a Terran's whole day. To avoid this problem,
and to give players more control over their
destinies, try the following variant:
During game setup, shuffle the 32 Imperium
Event Cards and place the deck face-down on
the table. At the start of the Administrative
segment, instead of rolling on the Imperial
Intervention table, deal three Event cards
to each player.
Players may play event cards whenever they
want to during a turn, unless the card says
otherwise. They may play as many cards as
desired, up to their entire hand.
At the end of the turn, they discard any
unused event cards, shuffle the deck, and
start the next turn by dealing out three new
event cards to each player.
