Fortress Przemyśl

In September 1914, Russian armies surrounded the Austro-Hungarian fortress of Przemyśl in Galicia (located today on the border between Poland and Ukraine), beginning a siege that would last until March 1915. This would be the longest siege of the First World War, featuring repeated relief attempts. In June 1915, the Austrians took it back by storm.

Fortress Przemyśl is a full-sized scenario book, telling the story of Austria-Hungary’s Stalingrad (aren’t you glad that’s not the book’s title?) with 30 new scenarios for Infantry Attacks: Fall of Empires and of course the full story of these epic battles and the troops, Russian and Austro-Hungarian, who fought them.

Fortress Przemyśl is not a complete game. You’ll need Fall of Empires and Franz Josef’s Armies to enjoy all of the scenarios.
